“2046” is the first Hong Kong movie that TAXA watched and got in touch with Hong Kong cultures. “2046” is divided into two periods, Hong Kong in the 1960s and 2046 on the train. The time-traveling train to 2046 carries passengers to recapture lost memories because nothing ever changes in 2046. TAXA adopts two vibrant shades of green and red in his work that the light and shadow in the train highlight and symbolize the surreal and complex future.
