This year marked the third consecutive year I’ve worked with KGV students on their challenge week murals painting project.
In just five days, we managed to complete five murals: two drama-themed, two music-themed, and one welcome to performing art mural.
Additionally, I organised a spray paint workshop for students, allowing them to experience the art form firsthand. I even created some stencils for them to try out.
I designed all five murals based on school requirements.
After completing the design, I drew outlines for the students.
I organised paints and materials, and prepared documents so students knew where to paint which colour beforehand.
During their challenge week, I mainly supervised, gave them some advice, and touched up any mistakes as needed. Overall, it was a very successful week, and all the students did a great job. The walls look fantastic!
